Semi-Hiatus Announcement!

Hey everyone! This post is to announce that I'm putting Once Untold on a semi-hiatus until further notice. I'll still be posting every day, but not as much as I have been. If you've read my Sunday Posts, you'll know how much I post each week. It's A LOT.

My reason for this is because I've honestly been trying to do too much all at the same time and it has impacted my health. This has caused me to get way behind on a lot of things. And doing all these things at one time has left me mentally and physically exhausted. So I need to take a some-what break to work on getting up to date on everything without being so constrained by time.

So what is my posting going to be like?

Sunday - The Sunday Post
Monday - Book Review (If I have one)
Tuesday - New Releases
Wednesday - Waiting on Wednesday
Thursday - Graphic Novel Spotlight
Friday - Book Review (If I have one) and Feature & Follow Friday
Saturday - Book Spotlight (If I have one)

And of course, I'll still be posting cover reveals, tours, blitzes, etc. But they will be severely limited to only books that I'm really super interested in.

Everything that I'm already signed up for will still be posted, so there's no need to worry about that.

I'm also going to be posting anything for reading challenges and read-a-thons. Plus anything that's related to any of the street teams I'm a member of.


I know that this still sounds like a lot, but most of it is few and far between. Except for my daily posts.

What will I be working on during this semi-hiatus?

The first thing that I need to do is finish transferring all the books I've read on other Goodreads accounts to my main original account. That hopefully won't take me too long.

I've been working on moving all of the reviews I've ever written to a different blog that's going to be kind of like an archive for all of my reviews. This will take a little longer to do. I think I'm currently at the end of transferring reviews form 2013.

All further book reviews will be posted to that blog. I will be posting a link on any promotional events posted here, directing people to that blog to read the review.

I still need to catch up on all the TV reviews for my TV/Movie blog. I'm hoping to have that completed before the new season start in the Fall.

There's a couple other things, but these are the main ones.



Once again, this looks like a lot in writing, but I'm hoping to have it all finished before Fall. If I keep a steady pace and use good time management, I feel like that's a achievable goal. I just need to make sure I get the appropriate amount of rest in between. But if I'm being quite honest, it's possible that this semi-hiatus could last until the end of the year, with my luck.

I think I'm going to do updates every month so that you all know where I'm at and when it'll look like the blog is up and running at full speed again.

I'm hoping that by cutting back a bit on posting so much on Once Untold, I can use the extra time to get all this stuff done and get caught up.

I hope I got everything across that I wanted to say. I feel like I just rambled and repeated myself. Basically, I gotta take a step back and GET STUFF DONE.
