Feature & Follow Friday | Books From a Burning House
Feature & Follow Friday is a weekly book blogger meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read to help bloggers gain new followers on their site. This week's question is:
Your house is burning down and you have time to select three books you own to take with you. What three books?
My answer:
I chose 3 books in 3 different series that affected me strongly emotionally.
City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare
Real by Katy Evans
If I Die by Rachel Vincent
**And if I couldn't grab any physical books on my way out of the house, I'd at least grab my Kindles. I have a couple thousand books on those.
**And my Bible. There's no doubt about that. It's one book that I will take with me no matter what. In fact, I wouldn't even let it get close to the flames.
**This list is ending up longer than 3 books...
**I know there's a fire raging, but what reader in their right mind would only try to save 3 of their books???
I'd be trying to carry as many as possible! Thanks for stopping by my blog, I'm an old follower. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my word! If I lost my bible in the fire, I think this would hurt the most because I have so many verses I've highlighted and notes I've written! Oh and for the record, I wouldn't save only three, I would grab as many as possible! :P

Well, at least you did stick to three! Seeing lots of other answers going around too! Though since I have a ground floor room and window, I'll be smashing those open and "gently" tossing all my books out as fast as I could! Though that would take quite awhile I think...

Lol! My real answer would be to save my fiance, my dog, and my two cats. (: If I had time to spare, I'd save my Kindle because I have all my books on there and I can just repurchase my physical copies. (:
